This is a fantastically done stop-motion video of people skate boarding,a subject matter that I honestly didn’t think would look so cool when done up in stop-motion. (Found on One Cool Thing a Day)

This is a fantastically done stop-motion video of people skate boarding,a subject matter that I honestly didn’t think would look so cool when done up in stop-motion. (Found on One Cool Thing a Day) Brilliant parody done up by Collegehumor as part of their Collegehumor Originals series. The now classic party song, I Gotta Feeling, by Black Eyes Peas, while catchy, is honestly one of the most repetitive and annoying songs I’ve ever heard. This parody of it however, rocks!
Flame is a painting program that allows you to use a complex flame style brush that is constantly adjusting for speed and position with a touch of randomness to create visually mesmerizing images such as the one above. I highly recommend playing around with it, whether you’re an artist or not. (Found on The Awesomer) A well done video that uses a stop-motion video shot between 2 and 6 pm in conjunction with 50 different masks to create a visually stunning video paired with excellent music to give you a great example of how music, light and architecture can come together in harmony and blow your mind. This is so cleverly done, that I am not going to spoil it at all but telling you what it’s like. Just watch it. It’s short and an awesome trailer for Pacman: The Movie by Therefore Productions. Made on a budget of just $2,000, 1945A is a short film by Ryan Nagata that plays out an alternative scenario in which the Nazis unleash super futuristic weapons on the Allies just as they are about to defeat Germany. Well made an interesting and fun watch to a “What if?” situation (similar to Inglorious Bastards in some ways), props to Ryan for fully stretching that money to the fullest. (Found on The Awesomer) The Good, The Bad, The Weird just goes to prove that Hollywood isn’t the only place that can make a Western movie that people want to see. From the looks of it, director Kim Jee-Woon’s latest movie to be brought Stateside on April 23 looks set to be awesome fun to watch despite it being a Korean Western with cowboys, horses and train robberies. Fantastic stuff!! (Found on The Awesomer) Did anyone else have one of these growing up? Took me a second to catch on to what was going on, but after that, pure genius! |
