There is 15 degrees of awesome in Nike’s new ad, Write The Future. I don’t think I would ever get tired of watching this ad during the World Cup this summer. Can’t wait until June! I was a huge fan of Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg’s Band Of Brothers mini-series they did with HBO a couple years back. The level of detail and character building was something you just can’t get with a 2-3 hour movie. I’ve watched the entire series at least a couple times and have the set on Blu-ray (side-note: looks AMAZING). That’s why I am so excited by their next production which follows a company in a similar fashion fighting in World War II in the Pacific against the Japanese. Excited to watch this when it comes out next year. The first ad promoting the upcoming Season 13 of Top Gear has come online. The first episode is scheduled for June 21st, so stay tuned for amazing cinematography, hilarious shenanigans, and gorgeous cars. For people not in the UK or where Top Gear airs, check out FinalGear.com, which is a very strong and large fan site to both Top Gear (all iterations of it) and Fifth Gear. That was epic amounts of fun to watch. Props to Colbert for going through with it. It’s just hair after all. Opinions? I for one don’t understand why they decided to spin off Cleveland into his own show. I don’t think it’s necessary.
This has to be intentional. The folks at SeriousLunch have spotted that Conan’s new Tonight Show backdrop bears a striking resembelence to the Magic Kingdom. I would have to agree. It fits just way too well. Props to Conan and set designers for going with this awesome design. (Found on Gizmodo) Microsoft has rolled out their first TV ad to promote their new search engine, Bing.com. It’s a bit sensory overload for me, and doesn’t really make me want to go out and find out how Bing will be better or more useful really. Bing is a good search engine, and I think they could have done a much better job with this ad. The ad, the idea/concept, has a ver cheesy 90′s feel to it for some reason. (Found on Gizmodo) I am really excited to get the Hulu app on my iPod Touch, but thanks to Lifehacker, I have something to do in the mean time. Unbeknownst to me (and apparently quite a few people), NBC already streams quite a few of their shows through their website already to your iPhone/iPod Touch! Just go to m.nbc.com on your Safari broswer, and viola! It supposedly works over 3G/Edge and Wifi, so go check it out. |
