Wow. Summer 2012 is going to be a full out comic book movie overload! We’ve got The Avengers coming out May 2012,The Dark Knight Rises coming out July 2012,and know we have ‘The Amazing Spiderman’coming out July 3rd 2012. Wow. Three very big very highly anticipated movies. For those who don’t know, this is not a sequel/prequel. It’s a whole reboot of The Spiderman series (a la Batman Begins). New cast. New look. Same old story. Sort off. I just really hope they abandon the first trilogy’s idea that Peter Parker “grows”the webbing from his wrists, and use the actual comic concept of web-shooters and cartridges.
I’ve been waiting to see how this movie would turn out since the first day I heard about it about a year ago. Directed by Steven Spielberg, produced by Peter Jackson,it has all the makings to be an amazing movie, and this teaser trailer just adds fuel to that fire. I loved Tintin as a kid, renting them from the library all the time, and I’m just as excited to share this passion with friends when I drag them to this movie!
An amazing compilation of clips from a multitude of movies including but probably not limited to The Dark Knight,Batman Begins,Batman (the original one!),The Machinist,Equilibrium, and Inception, this trailer transforms the idea of Batman to a vigilante hero to a schizophrenic nightmare that Bruce Wayne suffers from. (Found on The Awesomer)
The Devil’s Double is a movie based on the true story of a general forced to play Uday Hussain’s body double. It looks to be equal parts crazy, fun, and playboy-esque…the perfect combination in my opinion.
I didn’t think I would say this when they first announced the movie, but I am genuinely excited to watch X-Men:First Class when it comes out in June now. This trailer is all forms of sweetness.
This is just too cool to explain. Someone took the entire dream sequence from Inception, and converted it into a about 5 minute clip, where you can see all the dreams synced up to “real-time”based on the first dream (the van being chased). It’s really awesome to see how time speeds up,but honestly,I can’t seem to tell the difference between the third level and the deep twilight-zone level.
It’s a movie. About Cowboys. And Aliens. I repeat. Cowboys &ALIENS@@@ And it’s actually made properly with a solid cast, director and producer. Staring Daniel Craig,Harrison Ford,Sam Rockwell,it’s directed by Jon Favereau (of Iron Man fame amongst many others) and produced by Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard (and a few more).
This is so cleverly done, that I am not going to spoil it at all but telling you what it’s like. Just watch it. It’s short and an awesome trailer for Pacman:The Movie by Therefore Productions.
