I absolutely love Instagram (get it if you don’t already have it!). It’s a great way to take and share pictures with friends and the world, and truly showcase the fun and creative side of you. With it’s pure focus on pictures, I’ve always wished for more ways to view it in cool ways. With there recent API development, I am excited to see developers are utilizing it in interesting ways, like Keepsy. Keepsy is a photo book making service (similar to functionality included in iPhoto) that will pull all your Instagram photos, and automatically make a book of what it believes to be your best 35 photos (based on likes and comments). It sounds like a really cool little operation. Now I just want to be able to make a book of a friend’s photos so that I could give it to them as a gift. On a side note, I really don’t understand the fascination with having your bathroom mirror be a video screen that you touch, drag and interact with. Hands are oily, and you really don’t have that much space to work with in a typical bathroom mirror.

While the table is only a one-off design/art piece, it’s still really cool. Filtering through the design-speak filled description, the essence of the product is to visually represent the Asian belief of how small changes can magnify and have huge impacts on your and other people’s lives. Very cool.

It’s just been announced that Qatar will be hosting the 2022 World Cup, which is fantastic news in the every expanding variety of venues for the World Cup. Check out the video above showcasing the 5 gorgeous stadiums that will be built for the World Cup, each different from the other. I think the Al-Shamal, Al-Wakrah Sports Complex, and the Al-Rayyan Stadium are by far my favourite of the five.

Using a mixture of solar cells to power the stadiums, water taxis to efficiently transport people to and fro, and a newly developed cooling technology to reduce stadium temperatures by up to 20C, will make the 2022 World Cup a very exciting prospect!

This is so sweet. I mean I know it’s pretty simple tech and you can get similar objects at nearly any nic-nak store (floating globe, floating top, etc), but that doesn’t make this any less awesome. It’s the HOVERBOARD! FROM BACK TO THE FUTURE! Next step: Standing on it!
