I have always enjoyed walking into halls, museums,or historical landmarks and taking in the design and architecture. Most interesting of all to me is how the walls rise up and integrate with the ceiling. The grandeur of a place can be dramtically enhanced with a well-designed ceiling, and it is often a piece of architecture that most people fail to appreciate. Deputydog has put together some of the more amazing ceilings I have seen in a while. While there are a few more that aren’t listed (Hong Kong Airport Terminal 2,or Macy’s),the collection is still amazing (my personal favorite is the above done by Norman Foster, one of my favorite architects, and the Senedd in Cardiff).
