Wow that looks really bad. Ferrari’s F1 Driver, Felipe Massa was involved in an incident yesterday during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix where a spring that fell from the rear suspension of Barichello’s Brawn GP car hit him in the face at about 170 mph. Suffering a concussion, a fractured skull, and as you can see above, severe bruising and cuts on his face, Massa was smart enough to hit the brakes immediately but still went off and slammed into the tire barriers head-on at more than 100 mph.
