Charge Your Devices As You Roll Through The Airport

Pluggage

Pluggage is a prototype/concept carry-on that incorporates a flexible solar panel and a kinetic energy recovery system that utilizes a battery/inverter combination to provide juice to your electronic devices. Just think about it. You are already dragging your carry-ons through the airports (and in some cases, like Chicago O’Hare, that can be a lot!),why not make use of that energy and the spinning wheels to provide power to your laptop and phone? Inventor Ohad Folman claims that the built-in battery is fully charged in about 2 hours at walking pace, which should be able to power a laptop for about 1.5 hours. Not bad at all. When this gets out into the real world is a bit up in the air as none of the major bag manufacturers seem that interested…disappointing. (Found on Gizmodo)
