Growing up in Hong Kong where the British electrical plug is standard,any family vacation we would take would require us to carry a large pouch of charges and multi-plugs just to be able to charge a laptop,digital camera,and cell phone. The large plug while easy to plug-in,is far from the most mobile solution for the requirements. That’s why I am really liking the UK Folding Plug concept. Not only can it be folded to just 1 cm thick,it will work both in the expanded UK format,and while it is folded. This allows for special multi-plugs as shown in the video that can charge multiple devices without any of the bulkiness that happens when you plug in three of these UK plugs into a multi-plug. This concept can’t go into production soon enough. I hope someone out there decides to take this concept to mass production soon. Very soon. (Found on Engadget)
