I’m a bit of a fan of interesting watches and clocks, so I was quite excited when I saw this article on Digg. The article takes a look at a very extensive list of clocks and watches, that beyond just telling time, serve a dual purpose in changing how we think about time, making it into an artform or serving multiple purposes (the above bookshelf being case and point). I must say even for a fan, some of the timepieces displayed even caused me to question what the designer was thinking (smoking?!) when they thought of it, but for the most part, they are all very interesting in their own right.
