Good design is usually the difference between a good and a great product. It is something that varies widely on people’s opinion, but at the same time there are rules and forumlas that guide product design.
Gary Hustwitt’s (director of Helvetica, an excellent documentary about the most popular font used today) new documentary, ‘Objectified‘, delves into the thought process and reasoning a director goes through when approach product design. As Gizmodo put it:
Do you ever stop to realize that another human being carefully conceived and designed every object you will touch today? It’s a pretty amazing thought, and after Objectified, you’ll be thinking it more often.
